This globe design loosely based on the mid 19th Century terrestrial globe by Newton's. Design choices were also inspired by other antique floor globes.
This game ready prop was modelled in Maya, sculpted in ZBrush for hi-poly, baked in Marmoset Toolbag 4, with some map fixes done in Photoshop. I textured it in Substance Painter rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 4 following PBR game production pipeline.
